Finch the Dog needs a home
This is Finch. It is hard to imagine a dog who had a rougher start in life than this guy. He was found wandering outside a construction site in Michigan - limping, obviously malnourished. The guys on the site began feeding him and soon came to understand that this sweet boy deserved a second chance. They were able to get him placed with a wonderful foster family in Starfish Animal Rescue. He immediately began receiving the medical care he so desperately needed. His limp was likely due to being caught in a trap (yes, you read that right - just horrifying). He started eating regular, nourishing meals and has flourished with his foster mom who he loves and trusts unconditionally.
Finch will need a home who understands that he needs love, time, and patience. Starfish will provide assistance with training support for the family so that everyone gets off to a great start. Finch just needs a forever family who is willing to stick with him and help him heal in a calm and loving environment.
Finch needs to be in a home with no cats and no small dogs. He would probably like a calm, well balanced dog about his size to play with. Finch's family should be adults or a home with kids 15 and older.
